COVID-19 Policy/Procedures Update

COVID-19 OFFICE POLICY

We will schedule all visits to our office by appointment only, including picking up glasses and contacts. If picking up glasses or contacts, we ask that you please call us at 541-267-4224 for an appointment so we can maintain 10 or less occupancy.

If you have an appointment for an exam, we ask that no extra people accompany you (unless they are necessary) & before touching any surfaces, we ask that you apply the provided hand sanitizer. If there would be more than 10 people in the office at one time, we will ask you to patiently wait in your vehicle until someone leaves. During your appointment, please feel free to use hand sanitizer as often as you’d like and cough or sneeze into your elbow or tissue.

When confirming an appointment for any reason, we ask that you verify that you haven’t experienced symptoms of COVID 19 (fever, shortness of breath, fatigue, sore throat) nor have you been in contact with someone who’s been sick in addition to not having been to one of the ‘hot seat’ locations (Europe, China, Japan, S. Korea, Iran, Seattle, NYC, Los Angeles, or San Francisco). If yes to any of these questions, we will reschedule your appointment no sooner than 2 to 3 weeks later.

Our office has always worked to provide the best care possible, and that includes adhering to safety protocols to protect each other and our community. Today’s plan may change- in the next hour -as we adjust to ever-changing information.
